Passing TKDN, iPhone 11 Will Soon Be Officially Entered In Indonesia?

A good news for you iPhone lovers, because recently a news broke that Apple has conducted TKDN certification for their iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max series in Indonesia. After the trial, it is known if they have passed the certification.

We are now officially on the platform Tiktok! Follow our Tiktok account at @gamebrott.com to find various information and our other interesting video content.

Domestic Content Level Certification (TKDN) is a condition where an electronic item such as a 4G cell phone must contain at least 30% of its components made in Indonesia in order to be officially sold and circulated in Indonesia.

To clarify, you can access it through the TKDN page of the Ministry of Industry, on the page it can be seen that PT. Apple Indonesia was certified on September 23 with certificate number 387/SJ-IND.8/TKDN/9/2019.

Instead of using the path of hardware and software like other mobile phone vendors, Apple actually uses the path of investment commitment to fulfill the requirements of the TKDN.

Until now, it is not clear when Apple will include and market their iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max series to Indonesia, because currently they are still selling them limited to a few countries. However, if we look back, such as when they launched the iPhone XR and XS series, it is likely that they will start visiting Indonesia starting at the end of December this year, or early next year.

Currently, the price for the iPhone 11 variant in America is around US$699 (Rp. 9.8 million) for the cheapest version, the iPhone 11 Pro is US$999 (Rp. 14 million), and the iPhone 11 Pro Max is US$1,099 (Rp. 15.4 million). ). B

Of course, the price above is the price in America, and it will be different if it has entered Indonesia because it is subject to taxes and others. For example, as a comparison, the cheapest price for the iPhone XR in America is 749 US dollars (10.7 million at the exchange rate at the time) but in Indonesia it is sold at Rp. 15.2 million.
