Pokémon Go Adds Pokestops To Remember Ethics

Pokémon Go, in an update, added a special new pokéstop. This pokestop is special because it commemorates the late Desmond Amofah, better known as Etika, a gaming YouTuber.

Via Twitter, Reversal – a Dutch YouTuber who has been campaigning for the Etika pokéstop since last year – posted an image. The picture, in the form of a screenshot of a pokéstop himself making the caption “Remembering the passing of Ethics, JoyconBoyz forever,”, in a tweet.

As we know, Amofah is a youtuber who has gaming content, one of the best content is content about Nintendo which last year, was tragically found dead in June after previously being reported missing.

After the investigation, Amofah was declared suicide. It turns out that he has problems with his mental health. He himself once made a video on YouTube, where he discussed suicidal thoughts.

After his death, fans honored him with a 40-foot mural in Bushwick, Brooklyn, at 1280 Myrtle Avenue. The mural now exists as the location of the pokestop. (Players can submit requests for new stops and gyms to Niantic.)

Reporting from Polygon, Thursday (26/2/2020), Reversal told the public that Amofah “really loves Pokemon Go” and he hopes that the existence of the pokéstop will allow “people who love Ethics to send gifts from the PokéStop to other people.” others in the game.”
