Sony Will Close PlayStation Store Service for PS3, PSP, and PS Vita

Sony is rumored to be closing the PlayStation Store page for PS3, PSP, and also PS Vita next summer. This information was shared by an anonymous source through The Gamer’s website.

We are now officially on the platform Tiktok! Follow our Tiktok account at @gamebrott.com to find various information and our other interesting video content.

If this news is true, it means that gamers who own PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, and PlayStation Vita will no longer be able to buy original games in digital form or DLC through this page.

Although Sony itself has not confirmed whatever, but if we look at Sony’s policy of stopping production of the development of the three consoles, chances are that this news is indeed true.

The PlayStation Store for PS3 and PSP will reportedly close on July 2, 2021, while for the PS Vita itself on August 27, 2021.

However, this news is still only a rumor that is not necessarily true. We’ll just have to wait for official information from Sony some time in the future.
