Through Summer Games Done Quick, speedrunner Buffet_time managed to finish Valve’s newest game in 22 minutes 31 seconds. To reach that time, the speedrunner must run, jump and duck intensely. Even with all these efforts, the duration Buffet_time achieved was not the fastest and is in 4th place in the current world record.
Speedrun VR games like this are certainly something new and will be more interesting if done in front of an audience like the previous Games Done Quick event. However, due to the current pandemic, this year’s speedrun event has shifted to digital.
