Starmancer is a game that carries the theme space station sim, where this game puts you as an AI in a kind of computer machine tasked with managing a colony in a space ship. This game was developed by Ominux Games and currently Starmancer is still in the Kickstarter campaign stage.

The developer explained that this game is very inspired by classic games Dwarf Fortress but with elements of the game The Sims, where in this game you can arrange your own rooms according to your function and taste. In addition, your colony crew can interact with each other, such as having sex, even planning a rebellion.
Starmancer tells the story of an earth on the verge of collapse, requiring you to escape into space and start a new life. You are in control of one of the many colony ships that contain human consciousness in digital form, where later this awareness will be put back into an artificial body which then they will become citizens as well as workers who will help you in creating a prosperous colony condition.
In this empty space of course you are not alone, there are several other factions who have also fled from earth on colony ships. You can of course do trading or go on missions with these factions to improve friendly relations with them (and worsen relations with factions that hate them). Although sometimes there are types of space pirates that threaten the safety of your colony.
One of the keys to success in this game is to care about the members of your colony, because as previously explained, rebellion can occur in this game. Each member of the colony has its own personality, most of which you shape yourself such as the occupation and colonial conditions you design can influence their behavior.
Members of your colony may stop working and ignore your orders due to the colony’s low morale. They can even form groups to rebel and destroy you.
Currently Starmancer can only be played for the PC platform and is planned to enter the alpha period in the next few months and full release in January 2019.
