We are now officially on the platform Tiktok! Follow our Tiktok account at @gamebrott.com to find various information and our other interesting video content.

The game, which is planned to be released on July 10, 2020, will focus on visiting three main platforms, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. But with the pandemic that has dragged on, it seems that many gamers want the game to be ported to the Nintendo Switch. The good news, Bandai Namco finally gave clarity about this.

Via an emergency livestream from Producer Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris, Yousuke Futami answered several fan questions, ranging from the duration to the possibility of being ported to the Nintendo Switch. Futami explained that it was difficult for him to determine how many hours the game would last, but he estimated that Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris will have a duration of about 50-60 hours to play it. If you complete all the side quests, then you will play the game much longer.

Meanwhile, for those of you who play it just to enjoy the story. Futami explained that you will need at least 30 hours to finish the main story Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris.

When answering the question of the possibility of being ported to the Nintendo Switch, Futami could not determine whether they would do it or not. He also did not dare to promise the fans whether ported Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris allow. He just told the fans to be patient, because if they really did then they would have informed him. Meanwhile, if not, they will not announce it at all.

Futami also explained the possibility of porting Sword Art Online Hollow Fragment to the Nintendo Switch. He said they had thought about doing it, but because of financial problems, they didn’t. At least for now. He also explained that porting from one console to another would cost a lot of money.

This is certainly a reasonable statement, considering the cost of remastering a class game The Wonderful 101 Platinum Games alone requires funds of at least 5.4 million yen or around 540-550 million rupiah. Assume that the game ported into something that could possibly be higher than the remastered funds.

Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris is scheduled to be released on July 10, 2020 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. According to Futami, this decision is final and most likely will not be postponed again, unless there is an emergency that occurs. Of course, it will be interesting to see how the game that has been developed for four years will be when it is released.
