Take-Two Turns Off GTA Online Cheat Websites and Forces Them To Donate

They donate their income.

Destroying the existence of cheaters in online multiplayer games is indeed very difficult. On the one hand they are like the proverb “one dies, grows a thousand”, on the other hand there are many honest players out there who are very disturbed by his presence.

Legal action is one of the secret weapons that developers and publishers must carry out to stop it. But it looks like Take-Two has other ways of spending its money paying lawyers.

The parent company of Rockstar gives a hard slap to one of the cheat providers GTA Online, LunaCheats who immediately turned off their site’s total presence.

Launching Dexerto, LunaCheats claimed to have discussed it with Take-Two and they agreed to stop, provide maintenance, and distribute their cheats to naughty players.

It didn’t stop there, LunaCheats also promised to donate all the profits from their cheat sales to the agency appointed by Take-Two. “We apologize to all communities Grand Theft Auto Online for the problems created by our software”, they added.

The demise of LunaCheats follows Elusive, a cheat mod that Take-Two shut down two years ago. Similar to LunaCheats, Elusive creators are also forced to make donations. To make a difference, he was also fined $150,000. In other words, the same thing could happen to LunaCheats in the future.
