Dragon's Dogma Gets Anime Adaptation, Releases in September

Become a game that can be said underrated, Capcom’s Dragon’s Dogma was recently announced to get an anime adaptation soon. In collaboration with Netflix, the anime adaptation is planned to air on September 17, 2020.

The news that Netflix would be presenting an anime based on Dragon’s Dogma itself had surfaced about a year ago, but now fans can finally see what the poster looks like as well as the visuals produced by the Sublimation studio (via Comicbook).

For those of you who are unfamiliar with this game, Dragon’s Dogma is an adventure game combined with RPG with a few elements of Monster Hunter style, where players will face various legendary creatures such as Cyclops, Gryphons, Dragons and many more. But what is no less interesting is that Dragon’s Dogma has a Pawn system or some kind of follower character that we can create and manage ourselves and can be borrowed by other players.

The plot between the game and the anime adaptation doesn’t seem much different either, where the protagonist has the ambition to hunt down the dragon that has stolen his heart. You can check the Netflix page here.
