After a while we’ve seen Sony reveal PS5 and various new games, then there’s also the PC Game Show which surprisingly brings Persona 4 Golden to PC. Now it’s Ubisoft’s turn to show its fangs through Ubisoft Forward 2020.
For those of you who didn’t have time to watch the show this morning, here we summarize xx new things announced by Ubisoft.
1. Watch Dogs Legion – New Cinematic & Gameplay Trailer
Ubisoft Forward 2020 opens with a cinematic trailer in the form of a short film by Alberto Mielgo that shows the conditions in the world of Watch Dogs Legion. However, Ubisoft also showed off a new gameplay trailer that shows more gameplay details, such as a swaster military organization called Albion which seems to be the main enemy, as well as areas of London that have their own boss.
Even more interesting, after previously experiencing a release delay in April, now Ubisoft has again confirmed the release date of the new Watch Dogs Legion, which falls on October 29, 2020.
2. Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad – New Cinematic Trailer
First announced at E3 2019, now Ubisoft has released a new cinematic trailer for Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this game, Elite Squad is a mobile game that carries the game real-time tactical. One interesting thing offered in this game is that you can use various iconic characters from Tom Clancy’s universe such as Splinter Cell, Rainbow Six Siege, The Division and others.
Elite Squad itself can enter the close beta period, but you can pre-register first. Elite Squad is scheduled to be released on 27 August 2020.
3. Hyper Scape – New Cinematic & Gameplay Trailer
Told as a virtual world in a futuristic era, Hyper Scape offers a series of virtual entertainment, one of the most popular being the Battle Royale called Crown Rush. Of course you can expect Battle Royale battles with futuristic weaponry, a series of hack to gain abilities like teleport and more.
Hyper Scape itself entered beta on July 12 and has a free-to-play business model with microtransactions in the form of cosmetic items.
4. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – Gameplay Trailer
Although the gameplay itself was leaked some time ago, Ubisoft has now finally shown the official gameplay of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Shows several main features such as Raid and Assault and brutal battles, at a glance the equipment features that can dual-wield even two shields, stealth features that are thicker in the style of Assassin’s Creed before Odyssey and Origins, exploration that doesn’t seem much different from Odyssey where you can meet and against mythological creatures.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is scheduled to be released November 17, 2020 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Stadia. 02 18 21
5. Far Cry 6 – Cinematic Trailer
Even though its existence had been leaked a few days earlier, Far Cry 6 was also officially announced through a cinematic trailer. The Far Cry series itself is indeed more inclined to popularize the antagonist than the protagonist. And this time Ubisoft brings an artist who is popular because of his evil role in Breaking Bad, namely Giancarlo Esposito to bring to life Anto Castillo who became the antagonist of Far Cry 6.
It is not yet clear what kind of gameplay will be presented or which platforms will be targeted, but Far Cry 6 is planned to be released on February 18, 2021.
