The setting of this game will begin in 878 AD where at that time, King Alfred managed to repulse the Viking troops in the battle in the Edington area.

But for now they only provide highlights for the Anglo-Saxon and Viking factions only. Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia will also promise a super detailed map in each regional area. And in the campaign mode later, this strategy game will provide a system development “Choices” for players in defeating enemy factions on the battlefield.
