Hitman Developer Develops James Bond Game
IO Interactive is a game developer known as the developer of franchise Hitman Series. The game with Agent 47 is known for its unique theme, namely playing as a secret agent or spy. Now the Danish developer is trying to lift a character with almost the same theme, namely James Bond. The game, dubbed Project 007, does not yet have an official title, but the developer has teased fans with a video teaser which shows the iconic barrel of a gun like the opening of a James Bond film.

According to the official Project 007 website, this game will highlight the origins of Agent 007’s character as a secret agent. IO Interactive explained “This game will lift the new story of James Bond, Players will take on the role of the favorite secret spy who tells the story of the beginning of the James Bond character in getting 00 status for the first time.”
Based on the developer’s explanation, it can be concluded that this game is not connected to the film. Because the story of the beginning of James Bond has been told before in the film Casino Royale, starring Daniel Craig.
It is not yet known what platform will be targeted. However, the developer explained that the game will be available for “modern systems and platforms”.. In other words, this game is likely to be released on the Playstation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms and may even be released for Playstation 4 and Xbox One. Currently, the game is being actively developed at IO Interactive’s offices located in Copenhagen and Malmö, Denmark.
