Let’s player popular in Youtube it is gaining popularity because of its horror game gameplay video with ridiculous characters and commentaries while playing. Markiplier managed to beat thousands let’s player others on Youtube including the current king of Youtube – PewDiePie in the list of 10 most influential gamers from Forbes where the Swedish gamer is in second place under Mark.

Before becoming the prestige YouTuber he is today, Markiplier was a medical engineering student from the University of Cincinnati. During that time Mark explained that he was faced with difficult times ranging from being fired to developing a tumor on his adrenal gland. He wanted to do something that was all controlled by himself, from this he started watching video game collections from other gaming channels, learning and trying to build his own character which he called “Markiplier”.

Of course, his career as a youtuber was not instant, when he just started his Youtube career he had been in debt for 8 months. The videos he made also only made “a dozen dollars” before they could reach millions of views like gameplay Five Nights at Freddy’s which reached 60 million views.

The multi-million dollar income that Mark generates from Youtube and outside income also determines him to be no. 1 on the list.

Talking about income outside of Youtube, Markiplier only agreed to cooperate with a company brand if “it will come with the will of the fanbase”. He also often feels he is overpaid and has no problem doing his work for free as long as it pleases his fans.
