Steam Summer Game Festival Natural Delay

Steam recently planned a second game festival in 2020, titled Steam Game Festival: Summer Edition, but unfortunately the event had to be postponed for some time and could not keep the initial planning time.

We are now officially on the platform Tiktok! Follow our Tiktok account at @gamebrott.com to find various information and our other interesting video content.

Reported from the account The Twitter of the event’s initiator Geoff Keighley, he informed that Steam Summer Game Festival postponed for a week, originally the event was to be held on June 9, 2020 but due to the delay, the event was shifted and will be held on a new schedule, namely June 16, 2020.

It is still unclear what the real reason behind the postponement of the event is, but it seems that the reason for the postponement is as a form of solidarity with the protests about the racism incident that is currently taking place in America. The reason is, many other events have also been postponed in order to echo the sense of solidarity.

Previously, Steam has also held Steam Game Festival: Spring Edition which introduced and showed many indie games in the past which attracted a lot of attention from gamers.
