List of Free Games on PlayStation Plus March 2021

Towards the end of February 2021, Sony has just announced what games will be coming to the March 2021 edition of PlayStation Plus. Interestingly, this latest edition of PlayStation Plus brings one of the most popular games.

PlayStation Plus Free Games March 2021

Based on available information, Sony has prepared 4 free games that players can get next month. The four games are:

  • Final Fantasy VII Remake
  • Farpoint
  • Maquette
  • Remnat: From the Ashes

Interestingly, Sony is bringing Final Fantasy VII Remake to PlayStation Plus. In fact, the game developed by Square Enix was only released in April 2020. That means, it hasn’t been a year since its release. Furthermore, Sony basically has a habit of giving away games that have been released for a long time.

Previously, rumors regarding the presence of Final Fantasy VII Remake on the March 2021 edition of PlayStation Plus had been revealed. However, at that time there was no direct confirmation from Sony as a related party.

According to available information, Ratchet & Clank (2016) is free for all PlayStation 4 and 5 owners during the month of March, including those without a PlayStation Plus subscription. Sony says that once you pick it up, the game will be yours indefinitely.

In addition, starting March 25, Funimation and Wakanim are offering access for new subscribers in supported countries. For Funimation, this offer is available in the United States, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. While the offer from Wakanin can only be enjoyed by most of Western and Northern Europe.

For now, there are only two things Sony has announced for the second half of Play At Home. Last April, Sony released Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey for free.
