Tencent Officially Cooperates with Pokemon Company to Present Pokemon MOBA Game
It seems that the move from the Bamboo Curtain country developer, Tencnet, in reaching the western market is really serious. This is shown by Tencent by cooperating with one of the most loved franchises, namely Pokemon. The collaboration between the Pokemon Company has succeeded in giving birth to a MOBA genre game entitled “Pokemon Unite”. So far this game itself has been in the development stage by one of the Tencnet studios, which previously worked on the PUBG Mobile game, namely TiMI Studios.
We are now officially on the platform Tiktok! Follow our Tiktok account at @gamebrott.com to find various information and our other interesting video content.
It is planned that this MOBA genre game will be available for the Nintendo Switch, IOS, and Android platforms, and will support cross play when it is released later. Even though this game has gameplay like a 5vs5 MOBA game with three lines, the Pokemon Unite game still retains some of the mandatory features of the Pokemon franchise, namely, catch, train, evovle, and battle. These features will make Pokemon Unite different from MOBA games in general, including:
-Pokemon you use will evolve according to level
-Evolved Pokemon will have special skills and attacks
-You can catch wild Pokemon roaming the map
-Not an ordinary MOBA game, later there will be a system used to determine the winner of the game based on the score obtained
With these various features, of course, Pokemon Unite will become a MOBA game with a new color, considering one important feature that will determine the winner of the game. So far, Tencent itself has not provided official information when this game will be released. Even so, the collaboration between Tencent and the Pokemon Company is becoming very interesting, considering the MOBA genre chosen by the developer, as well as the big name Pokemon that has gone global, making this one game worth waiting for.
