Of course, there are still many other Indonesian developers who are preparing to show their fangs in the local and international video game industry. One of them that I recently met is the studio Engram Interactive with its game, IM(MORTAL). And the author is also given the opportunity to look a little deeper into the game.

IM(MORTAL) is a game that carries a Futuristic theme wrapped in an Isometric presentation combined with Classic RPG, comes with a pixelated display which is certainly not foreign to indie games. nowadays. Briefly, this game tells of a mercenary who tries his luck in Germany in search of wealth. But while on duty, he actually reveals a secret that is thought to be able to change his life, even the lives of many people.

Here are some screenshots of what the game looks like, as well as a video showing one of the locations in the game, called Hephaestus Armaments.

The developer explained that IM(MORTAL) was inspired by several popular RPG game series, such as The Witcher, Ys and the classic Atelier. Players will be able to expect features such as turn-based combat classic Final Fantasy style, customization equipment to strengthen characters in battle, to be free to explore various areas to find various things, of course, enrich the game world.

Engram Interactive plans to release IM (MORTAL) games for the PC platform via Steam, with a target release that falls in Q2/Q3 2020 or between April and September next year. Furthermore, the developer stated that they also plan to reveal more details and even game demos through the GameStart 2019 event which will be held in Singapore in October.

Engram Interactive is an indie game developer from Bali that has just been formed since last October 2018, and aspires to present quality indie games that will compete in the international market.
